Our sterile preparations department complies with the most recent standards established by the Board of Pharmacists of Quebec (OPQ 2014.01 and 2014.02). Our facilities allow us to carry out both sterile preparations of non-hazardous and hazardous products. Very rigorous internal procedures, whether for the certification of installations or for staff training, ensure high quality preparations. There are several types of sterile preparations: syringes, bags (by gravity or by pump), cassettes, elastomeric infusers, ophthalmic drops, ear drops, preparations for intramuscular or subcutaneous injection, etc. All preparations are standardized and based on literature data in order to be effective and safe for the patient.
